Intranet solutions improve internal communication and employee engagement, while extranet solutions enable seamless communication with, for example, resellers, customers, and partners.

We implement intranet and extranet solutions using modern and cost-effective technologies. Our primary technology is WordPress, which we also use for website development. If an intranet or extranet solution is implemented as part of a website redesign, we can leverage significant synergies between the solutions. This ensures that the website and the intranet are consistent in terms of visual design and user experience.

It is particularly important that both the intranet and extranet are easy to use for end users and the organization responsible for maintenance. If necessary, we integrate access management with the organization’s other systems using a single sign-on (SSO) solution. Users can securely log in to the intranet or extranet service using a single authentication process, eliminating the need to re-enter passwords.

The content management system we use most often for websites is WordPress. For these projects, we create a fully customized theme for the client. This ensures that the website meets the client’s needs exactly, both visually and technically. We have also used WordPress’s Multisite feature in several projects to meet various needs. With Multisite, content management permissions for the website can be easily configured on a sub-site-by-sub-site basis. Examples of Multisite projects we’ve implemented include the Finnish Reserve Officers’ Association, FC Inter, Ahola Transport, and Fimet.

When selecting technologies, we pay special attention to site speed and information security. All plugins used on the site are thoroughly tested, and their update frequency is verified. We also avoid using unnecessary plugins, as they unnecessarily slow down the site and increase security risks. After the project is complete, our expert maintenance team will ensure that security updates for WordPress and its plugins are kept up to date.
