New brand and website

We brought a 50-year-old machine shop into the new millennium.

Hero Image

Lajupek

Lajupek, based in Hyvinkää, has been a contract manufacturer of precision mechanical components since 1972. The company manufactures high-quality precision mechanical components and assemblies for its customers.

Starting point

Lajupek’s previous visual identity had remained unchanged for a long time. Following a change in ownership and a new management team, there were many development projects on the table. The goal was to find a partner capable of revitalizing Lajupek’s entire public visual identity with a strong project approach. There was also a clear need to revamp the website.

Objectives

In this industry, companies’ brand identities and websites are typically generic and outdated. Right from the start of the project, it was clear that the brand identity could be used to stand out strongly in the competitive landscape.

The primary purpose of the website was defined as serving both existing and new customers. In addition, the site should convey a credible and professional image of the company to visitors.

The final result

Lajupek received a unique brand identity and website that certainly sets it apart in the industry. The logo was also completely redesigned. Out of respect for Lajupek’s history and its old logo, the new logo retained a symbol that represents a very specific machine part—Lajupek’s longest-serving employees might know what it is.

In addition to the website, we created PowerPoint templates and business cards in line with the new look for Lajupek’s staff to use. There will certainly be more branding material needs in the future, and G-Works is happy to assist with them. The website is in the capable hands of G-Works’ technical support team, and ongoing development is also planned for it.
