The philosophy of wealth
Under the guidance of photographer Jaakko Heikkilä, we produced graphic materials for the National Museum of Finland’s next exhibition. The exhibition “The Philosophy of Prosperity” explored economic prosperity as a cultural phenomenon. The graphic design for the exhibition was effectively planned from the outset in collaboration with Jaakko Heikkilä and the National Museum’s exhibition team. The primary focus of the exhibition was to highlight the striking images on display. The style of the graphic material was kept luxurious and clean.

Tight schedule
The exhibition was organized on a very tight schedule, and the materials had to go into production within less than a month of the project’s start. G-Works was responsible for the exhibition’s graphic design and for quality control regarding the production of the materials.

Careful choices in visual design
At the beginning of the design process, we chose a muted blue as the exhibition’s main color to convey prosperity and dignity. We decided to keep the text panels themselves white to create a strong contrast with the text and ensure that it remained easy to read. When designing the text panels, we decided to create all the informational panels as asymmetrical linear shapes. This added visual interest to the exhibition through simple, varied shapes. The exhibition’s elegance and clarity were kept in mind at all times.

Complete on schedule
The exhibition was managed efficiently from start to finish. The key to staying on schedule was the detailed project plan drawn up at the beginning of the project, which was strictly followed throughout. Next, we got to enjoy a fantastic exhibition!
