Collaboration
HJK’s starting point was quite typical: over the years, the organization has invested a great deal of resources in its website, with which it is not entirely satisfied. There are certainly providers for a new website, but they didn’t want to embark on a large-scale redesign project.
If only they could find a company that would take the old site, improve it, and continue developing it from there. And sure enough, they found just that in us at G-Works.
Refactoring and takeover
The collaboration began with a refactoring project in which the WordPress engine powering HJK’s website was thoroughly reviewed to find ways to streamline its operations, remove unnecessary plugins, and improve data security. The visual design was also slightly revamped. At the same time, the site was transferred to G-Works for maintenance. The primary goal of the initial project was to improve the site’s speed, which was achieved with great success.
Further development
Following the initial project, HJK has signed a further development agreement with G-Works, under which responsibility for the site’s ongoing development has been clearly transferred to the vendor. The website isn’t left to rest on its laurels; instead, G-Works continuously generates suggestions for improvements and changes, which the client reviews. G-Works is authorized to make small and obvious changes on its own. This working model has solved HJK’s most important concern: when someone else takes care of the website, that’s one less thing to worry about.
