"tomorrow without worries" campaign

The goal of the partnership between the A-Clinic Foundation and the Federation of Mother and Child Homes and Shelters (ETKL), which began in early 2025, is to raise funds and support the organizations’ efforts to help Finnish families in need. The symbol of the partnership is a “worry ball,” which represents the anxiety caused by worry when one’s home is an unsafe place. The campaign was designed by the creative agency Sherpa.

Project launch and objectives

The “Tomorrow Without Worries” campaign needed a campaign website designed to collect donations for households in need. G-Works was selected to build the website and eagerly set to work designing the visual layout of the campaign site. The goal was to create a site that conveys the campaign’s main message clearly and persuasively. In terms of functionality, the main focus was on the donation feature, which had to be as straightforward and user-friendly as possible for donors.

Design and technical implementation

Joona, a UI/UX designer at G-Works, incorporated the visual identity of the creative agency Sherpa into the website’s design, which served as the basis for developing the site on the WordPress platform. Accessibility was a key consideration in the implementation, both in terms of visual design and technical implementation.

G-Works developer Rasse was responsible for the technical implementation of the project. To implement the “Donate” feature in WordPress, a donation management system was built and integrated with the Paytrail API. Direct integration with Paytrail enabled a visually consistent and brand-aligned implementation, a lighter codebase, and better management and customization capabilities than a ready-made plugin would have provided. The WordPress admin panel and the website visible to donors are separated from each other. The user interface is based on Next.js, which enabled the development of a highly agile user interface. A dedicated donation path was also created for corporate donors.

Social media sharing links were added to the thank-you page that appears after a donation, allowing visitors to share information about their donation on various social media channels and encourage their friends to donate as well. A social media share image aligned with the campaign was designed and implemented, which donors can attach to their social media posts.

The final result

Because the project had a tight schedule, it was important to establish a precise weekly schedule for the project right from the start. The schedule was closely monitored, and we successfully launched the visual campaign website on schedule. A big thank you to both the ETKL and A-Clinic Foundation project teams for a truly enjoyable project!

The campaign website continues its successful fight against worry, maintained by G-Works.
