New website

We created a website for Töölö's iconic sports arena.

The need for a new website

Bolt Arena, a hub for soccer games, concerts, and corporate events, did not previously have its own website. The need for a digital home base was clear. During the initial workshop for the project, visual appeal, informativeness, and communication were identified as the cornerstones of the new site. The goals set during the workshop were monitored throughout the project.

Website design and development

When designing the website’s visuals and color scheme, G-Works designer Joona drew inspiration from Bolt Arena’s previous materials. It was also clear that the new site should follow the yellow-black-white color scheme of Bolt Arena’s logo. G-Works was given free rein to design new graphic elements for the site.

Technically, the website was built using WordPress and the latest technology in the field, with the front end (visitor view) and back end (WordPress content management system) separated from one another. Thanks to this implementation, the site is fast, secure, and reliable.

The end result

The start of the Veikkausliiga season put time pressure on the project. Following the timeline map developed in collaboration with the client, the site was quickly made available to Bolt Arena staff for content entry.

The end result of the project was a visually appealing website that meets the expectations of all parties and provides versatile tools for Bolt Arena’s communications. The website is designed to be easily modified and further developed as Bolt Arena’s needs evolve.
